Red Tower
Kızılkule, which is one of the first buildings that come to mind when Alanya is mentioned, is among the symbolic structures of the region. You can visit the tower, which is a very striking structure with its architecture and location, near the historical peninsula in the town center.
The tower, which is a 13th century structure, was built by Alaaddin Keykubat I. Red Tower, which was built in the region to prevent threats from the sea and to defend the city, was built on a sloping land. The east side of the tower, whose distance from the ground on both facades is different, is 33 meters; The west side is 3 meters shorter than the east.
The tower, which used rectangular limestone and spolia products in its construction, is among the most beautiful examples of 13th century buildings with its magnificent appearance. The inscription “Gratitude to God” draws attention on the door of the tower, where the entrances are made from the north facade.
Dim Cave
Dim Cave, one of the must-visit natural beauties of Alanya, is approximately 13 kilometers away from the town center. The cave, located in Kestel Mevkii area, can be reached by private vehicle by following Ahmet Tokuş Boulevard to Dim Stream.
There are 4 galleries in the cave, which is approximately 232 meters above sea level. The cave, whose formation and appearance are quite interesting, is one of the most important natural wonders of the region. The total length of the building is 360 meters and its width is 13 meters, while stalactites and stalagmites can be seen on the ceilings.
Alanya Castle
The castle, located within the borders of the historical peninsula in Alanya district center, is one of the important historical buildings of the region. The castle is approximately 5 – 10 minutes walk from the town centre.
The castle, which has a very magnificent appearance with approximately 6 kilometers of walls surrounding it, started to be used in 1221 during the reign of Alaaddin Keykubat I in order to protect the city against threats that may come from the sea. The castle, where various restoration works were carried out during the same period, was further strengthened. A cistern was also built inside the building to avoid problems with water needs.
Sapadere Canyon
Sapadere Canyon, one of the extraordinary natural beauties of Alanya, is among the places to be visited with its remarkable structure and atmosphere. Located in Sapadere Village, the building is 45 kilometers away from the town center.
There are small natural pools in the canyon, which is approximately 15 kilometers from the sea. Natural pools, which can be entered, are among the most striking features of the building. It is not dangerous to visit the canyon, as platforms have been built inside the canyon for easy navigation.
Tophane
The tophane, located in Alanya town center, close to the port, can be easily reached on foot.
The armory, located next to the shipyard within the borders of the historical peninsula, is a building consisting of 2 floors in total. Thanks to the vaulted corridor inside the armory, which is 19 meters high, it is possible to pass to the surrounding walls.
One of the windows of the two rooms at the entrance of the building overlooks the land; The other one overlooks the sea. There are a total of 6 rooms on the upper floor, three at a time. A cistern was also built within the borders of Tophane to meet the water needs of soldiers and officials. The structure played an important role in defending the Mediterranean against external threats during its period.
Phosphorus Cave
You can visit Phosphorus Cave, which is very close to Damlataş Cave, one of the important natural beauties of Alanya, with boat tours from the port.
The cave, which has a very interesting structure, is famous for emitting phosphorescent light. The lights, which can be seen more clearly especially late at night, are also reflected in the sea of the cave. You can visit the cave, which looks like a natural pool, free of charge, and enjoy the cool waters of the Mediterranean in the clear sea in front of it.

Alanya Archaeological Museum
The archaeological museum, which sheds light on the history of Alanya, is located in the Saray District within the district borders. Transportation to the museum can be achieved on foot.
There are 15 exhibition halls in the museum, where artifacts and documents from the civilizations that lived in the region are exhibited. The museum, which contains artifacts from many civilizations from the Bronze Age to the Phrygians, has been accepting visitors since 1967.
The museum, where works from the Archaic, Classical, Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine periods are exhibited, serves you to witness the past of Alanya.
