Red Tower, which was built in the region to prevent threats from the sea and to defend the city, was built on a sloping land. The east side of the tower, whose distance from the ground on both facades is different, is 33 meters; The west side is 3 meters shorter than the east.
The tower, which used rectangular limestone and spolia products in its construction, is among the most beautiful examples of 13th century buildings with its magnificent appearance. The inscription “Gratitude to God” draws attention on the door of the tower, where the entrances are made from the north facade.
Dim Cave
Dim Cave, one of the must-visit natural beauties of Alanya, is approximately 13 kilometers away from the town center. The cave, located in Kestel Mevkii area, can be reached by private vehicle by following Ahmet Tokuş Boulevard to Dim Stream.
There are 4 galleries in the cave, which is approximately 232 meters above sea level. The cave, whose formation and appearance are quite interesting, is one of the most important natural wonders of the region. The total length of the building is 360 meters and its width is 13 meters, while stalactites and stalagmites can be seen on the ceilings.
Alanya Castle
The castle, located within the borders of the historical peninsula in Alanya district center, is one of the important historical buildings of the region. The castle is approximately 5 – 10 minutes walk from the town centre.
The castle, which has a very magnificent appearance with approximately 6 kilometers of walls surrounding it, started to be used in 1221 during the reign of Alaaddin Keykubat I in order to protect the city against threats that may come from the sea. Sapadere Canyon
